what am i seeking?

what am i going to seek today?

sometimes I need to listen.

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.”

Proverbs 19:20-21

I love this verse. It never fails to remind me that no matter what I plan, prepare, or hope for the Lord already knows. He has my plan mapped out.

Listen. Sometimes my mouth moves so fast I stu.. stu.. you know, stumble over the words I want to say. Those who know me well would know that often my mind moves faster than my mouth can keep up with. Skipping major words and ending up with sentences that sound something like.."I'm..going.. yes.. okay. Ready?"

Today, I'm going to make an extra effort to just stop. and listen.

look up, see Him.

very first blog.

well, this is it. my very first blog. :) having no idea what this looks like.. but lured in to the 'blog world' by my family. I guess I'll give this thing a shot. give me a moment to decide what should go on this page. but in the meantime I guess I'll leave a photo of my two most beautiful sisters. they really do mean the world to me. get to know them, i promise you'll like them. :)
